How It Works
The program consists of six units, each focusing on a different purpose or goal. The units all focus on helping you get to know yourself, identify your goals, and learn the skills you'll need to pursue your dreams.
In addition to the activities in the units, you'll also do a Volunteer Service Project of your own choosing. If you do Tiger’s Action Plan in a group setting, you will plan and design the Volunteer Service Project together. You may also conduct a Volunteer Project on your own that is more closely related to your personal dream. Doing this Volunteer Service Project is an important part of Tiger’s Action Plan.
Depending on how often your group meets, you could finish the program in several weeks over the summer or spread it out for months after school and on weekends. You'll be spending at least 20 hours total on Tiger’s Action Plan.
Be sure to check out our Online Tools for extra help: a fun Interest Survey, Career Exploration, and a Volunteer Match to help you find the right project in your area.
